Event and Wedding Porta Potty Rental, Westminster, CO
Reunions, receptions out in a pasture and county fairs all share one thing: a line for the bathroom.
How many units does a party need?
The usual rule of thumb is roughly one unit per 50 guests for an event of around 4 hours. A longer event or an open bar needs more, and a public event should have an ADA unit.
| Headcount | Units for roughly 4 hours |
|---|---|
| 50 or fewer | 1 |
| About 100 | 2 |
| About 200 | 4 |
| About 500 | 10 |
When do the units arrive and leave?
Most providers set them down the day before or early on the day itself, and collect them the following day. Mention narrow gates, low limbs or a soggy lawn so the truck can get through.
What if it rains?
The units do fine in rain. The ground is the worry, so pick a spot near the driveway and keep a path for guests that won't turn to mud.
How far apart should units be?
Keep them in one group so guests can find them, with room for each door to swing. Put them downwind of the tables and near a light if the party runs past dark.
Do we need a hand-wash station?
If food is served, yes. Most have a foot pump, a basin, soap and paper towels.
